The Whispering Hills Board Agreed to and Acknowledged the need for Speed Bumps/Humps on Redbud Lane.
Speed Bumps were ordered and put in place. Speed Bumps were accepted, by the majority of residents, but a Style Change was requested. Speed bumps were removed and never replaced.
This area has a walking trail exit, creek where children play and fish, and is a downhill invitation to speed. A future park is also proposed for this area of Redbud.
We the undersigned residents of Whispering Hills call on the Board of Whispering Hills to replace the speed bumps (they installed and removed) at the areas north and south of the low water bridge, along Redbud Lane with a less aggressive style bump/hump.
We are walkers, joggers, cyclists and have children and pets we wish to protect. The speeds on this road have been clocked upwards to 55 mph and we wish to prevent a terrible accident from occurring.
