Facebook runs algorithms and targets groups with specific ads, that they get paid to run. Adminstration of large facebook groups is volunteer work so far, and many admins are doing a lot of free work in running these groups.
Admins may be helping people out in groups, sending healing, nurturing, act like therapists and counsellors in groups, mediate disputes and put time and energy into admin duties.
Facebook should pay a small fee for the work that admins do in helping Facebook run its groups!
