Pete Waterman deserves a Knighthood!

Background (Preamble):
No other person has shaped music around the world as much as Pete Waterman.
Starting off his career in the 60's DJ'ing, Pete soon moved onto promoting a whole string of household names in the music bizz during the 70's.
In the early 80's Pete, along side fellow producers Mike and Matt started up the world famous 'Stock, Aitken & Waterman - Hit Factory'. The most successful production team in pop history. The numbers are staggering, even Carol Vorderman would struggle. S/A/W pumped out hits for well over a decade. As an example: just between 1987 & 1990 around 140 top 40 singles were produced/written/mixed.
Pete is also well known for his TV presenting work. Most notably the ground breaking dance show 'The Hitman & Her' alongside Michaela Strachan. Most recently Pete has judged on reality talent shows like: Popstars and Pop Idol.
Pete is also a leading figure in the conservation of Britain's railway heritage. And he's a top bloke as well, lol.
