The Northeast Holy Trinity Church is located at 709 4th Street, NE, Washington, DC 20002 in a residential area (zone 6) for over 77 years.
We the members of the Church would like to have parking passes to park without receiving tickets in the area. We have two hour parking on one side of the church and no parking on the other side.
With our parking passes we can park on the opposite side of the street for the residents which says no parking from 7am-9pm Monday through Friday as long as the passes are in the window. Our present parking passes will officially end at the end of December 2014.
We have call the Department of Public Works, but they have told us they will no longer issue out parking passes in the future. We originally had a meeting with Councilman Tommy Wells who promised us parking for the Church.
Unfortunately, with new turnover of people within the Department, they are not budging to further help us. We have not received any more phone calls from them as we have awaited their phone calls.
We are ok on Sundays. We desperately need parking passes.
They have build up the area on H Street, NE and parking is very hard to find.
We, the undersigned, call on the Mayor to reissue the Northeast Holy Trinity Church parking passes for the members (50) passes to be used during the week nights, on the first Tuesday of each month at 8pm, every Wednesday evening 8pm, every Friday at 7:30pm.
We need a special parking pass for businesses to park at the church for however many hours it would take to do maintenance work at the church.
We, the undersigned would like for the parking passes to be issued indefinitely.
