We stand opposed to the proposed 264 units, consisting of a clubhouse, mail kiosk, a maintenance building, five unattached garages, four dumpsters, etc.
Our opposition is based on the costs our community will pay:
Opposition to Apartments on 200N and Dan Jones:
(1) increased need for government services;
(2) demand on local schools;
(3) potential crime that is attracted to apartment complexes;
(4) increased traffic congestion and flows;
(5) decreased property value on brand new homes, the transient status of apartments and the accompanying loss of a sense of community and quality of life in surrounding communities.
