Something has really got to be done about the the parking for the school. It takes ages for cars to get in and out, and if emergency services are called they cannot get through.
Open up north street as an entrance. Children and parents have to walk in the road as cars block off paths which also means residents are blocked in. There is an old people's home next to the school where ambulances are constantly called, they would never get through during school times. I have witnessed a young boy being reversed into. Children cannot see if cars are coming without stepping onto the road as the parked cars block their view.
Parents want a safe place they can drop off and pick up their children, and they should be able to park when needed without blocking in residents nearby and causing hazards and gridlock.
Residents want to be able to get in and out of their property and not have to succumb to abuse from people who are parked across our drives or pathways.
Children should not have to walk in the road and should be able to cross safely.
