NYSC is the National Youth Corp Service. Youths are kept in a camp area for 3 weeks where they undergo Man of war drills, lectures, skill acquisitions e.t.c. For these 3weeks most people are under fed and the fall ill. Some are not even up to the tasks.
Lectures are held in halls that don't contain them so they have little or no knowledge of what is learnt. Also Nigeria is undergoing lack of security.
I suggest that the camp is for one week, just for registration and every other thing can be learnt afterwards.
This will save cost and time.
We, the Undersigned, call on the federal government of Nigeria to make NYSC oreintation camp just one week, for the sanity and the safety of the youth.
