We the People of North Carolina, in Order to form a more perfect State, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this petition for the United State of North Carolina.
We the Citizens of the State of North Carolina declare that it is in the best interests of both us, and the Government of the United States of America to allow the State of North Carolina to become an independent State.
This would be because of the recent attempt of the Federal Government to cut Federal Funding to a single State (the State of North Carolina) and their Attempt to use that that cutting of funding in hopes that it could scare the State into submission of a law that violates the core principles of States Rights.
With the Secession of the State of North Carolina, We, the State of North Carolina would become an independent Nation, that would like to hold diplomatic relations with the United States of America.
When becoming an independent Nation, we hope that it can be achieved peaceably, but we will surly fight for our God given Right to become an independent, unified people.
