Help Save The North America Railway Line!

Somewhere in the 1800's North America Railway line became a part of history of Pembroke Ontario heritage. In the late 1800's early 1900's the CN Line Became a passage for the Lumber industry and also passage for a commuter train for worker in the Ottawa valley.

The people of Renfrew County would like to see again a commuter train and train for the lumber industry and other factories in the area. It would be beneficial for local communities and for people that like to travel by rail to threw the Ottawa community for those that work in Ottawa and lives all across Renfrew County.

I know that in the past OVR Ottawa Valley Rail Way has complained about the cost of repairs being too much. But there is opportunity for local communities to hire local people to create jobs for those who are interested in working on heritage projects.

I ask everyone in the Renfrew county and urge all municipalities, Provincial Government, and Federal government to sign this petition to save this last piece of heritage we have left.

I also ask the government to help fund the North America Rail way Line.
