Nomination of Pastor David Brown

There is a new show called Knock Knock Live airing on Fox this summer. Knock Knock Live enlists friends, families, groups and organizations to help grant wishes by surprising them at their home. The wishes can extend from a new car, to meeting their favorite celebrity. I would like to nominate my father, Pastor David Brown.

Anyone who knows, or knows of my father knows that he has spent his ENTIRE life doing and caring for others. He shelters, and clothes the homeless, has day in and day out counseling/mentoring sessions, sings and provides gifts to the elderly; and he will give any and everything to anyone who meets him in need; this includes, but is not limited to cars, homes, food, shelter, etc. If he could give the clothes off of his back he would, and to be honest, he has done just that.

My father doesn’t make much money, but yet will spend his last to make someone else happy, and while I still have him on earth with me, I would like to return the favor. I am asking anyone and everyone who has met him to assist me.

I am nominating my father to receive either a new house or a new church building. I would like to take some of the hardship off of him, because he continuously has to maintain, fix, and repair these things to make sure that his loved ones and his church family have a place to go. I see how stressed and tired he is, but my father does all of this without ever asking for help or slowing down. Even when I beg him to not do so much because of his health status, he always replies to me, “I must take care of my people, as God is doing for me.” He truly is the most giving and loving man I know.

Please sign this petition nominating my father, you may also share your stories of how he has helped, and been there for many of whom he calls his daughters and sons. My dad is the father, Pastor and provider to 7 biological children, almost 30 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 100’s of his spiritual “sons and daughters”. To go into detail on how incredible this man is, what he has sacrificed for everyone, and what he has done would be a never ending description. Help me to make his dreams come true, He deserves it!
