The USB port on my E7-00 broke off (jobsheet number: 597504886/120720/7_M), as did all these E7-00s from all over the planet.

And this is a physical damage which WON’T be covered by warranty, cause Nokia thinks I’m such a dumb arse that I would break off the micro USB connector myself.
I have had plenty of problems with my previous nokia, the N97 32GB edition. Yet I decided to give Nokia another chance and purchased this E7.

I’m such an idiot. I should have moved to the samsung galaxy right after the N97 camera scratch and nokia refusing warranty service cause this was again a physical damage; although even this time, mine was not an isolated incident,

I wrote to nokia (The Service Request No. is 1-13031745766) , and the reply I got was:-

“In response to your email, we would like to suggest you that as we understand that your device has been assessed as physical damaged, please note that according to Nokia Warranty Guidelines, physical damage is not covered under warranty and it may be repaired outside warranty with repair charge”.

That about sums it up. No more Nokias for me. NEVER EVER EVER EVER AGAIN. Hell with your lumia. I'm sure something will break off and Nokia Care will tell me i broke it myself cause i am an idiot.

This ends my (and my entire family's) 10 years long relationship with Nokia smartphones and NGages.

Goodbye and good riddance.

Nokia unnecessarily refuses warranty service and claims physical damage caused by user.
