Read In The Irish Sun today (Feb 18th 2008) That Westlife's Shane Filan wants to cover U2's classic "0ne" and THIS MUST NOT HAPPEN !!!
..it's 0ne of my favourite songs of all time & to think a "COVER BAND" like westlife would attempt to murder this song is just unthinkable,
i thought Michael Buble's "Home" was an eXcellent song
...until "THEY" got hold of it , now i can't stand it, and i know they will totally KILL a song i love..
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE NO NO NO.....
Band's do cover versions (Aslan, 0asis, Wet Wet Wet, Depeche Mode, George Michael & Martin Gore to name but a few) and most times do the song justice....... i can't even begin to think of the disaster that will be if THEY cover "0ne"
