The City of Midlothian, TX, is planning to annex its North-East Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ). Such annexation project would have dire consequences on the rights of the residents of this ETJ and impose a significant financial burden on the affected families.
Please sign this petition asking for the removal of such annexation plan from the City Council and planning agenda, and the cancelation, or at least the postponement, of any further annexation plan of our ETJ.
We, the undersigned, call on the City of Midlothian to remove the annexation plan of the city's North-East ETJ from the City Council and planning agenda, and to cancel, or at least significantly postpone any further annexation plan of our ETJ.
We ask that annexations be made under voluntary basis upon request from the property owner only.
