Newly elected deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg wants to allow Prisoners/Convicts the right to vote in General Elections and no doubt Local Elections?
We the undersigned Victims of Crimes and Ordinary members of the Public believe that to give prisoners the right to vote, would be wrong!
These men and women committed a crime against society and its rules, hence the reason they are in prison in the first place. By allowing them this right you allow them control over their victims once more! How is this justifiable?
All prisoners upon conviction should have all their basic rights removed, including the use of voting rights, mobile phones etc.
Prison is meant to be a punishment for the crime committed, already prison is classed as a 'holiday camp' by most... DO NOT make it into a hotel!!
