Colchester Borough Council confirm that the shop units at the Solus, S1 phase of the Garrison development already benefit from food and drink permission, including Hot Food Takeaway usage.
At the last meeting of the Solus Residents Association (7th May, 2009), the overwhelming view was that any type of Hot Food Takeaway would have a negative effect on our quality of life.
Shops in some form will be a reality on this development but we can influence council decision-making by making public our hopes and aspirations for this development.

We, the undersigned, raise objection to any siting now, or in the future of any Hot Food Takeaway on the Solus S1 development in Colchester.
We urge Colchester Council Officers, Planners and Committees to take our views into account when making planning decisions.
