Background (Preamble):
The CEP Provincial Bargaining Caucus for Saskatchewan has, in previous contracts, without member consultation, passed a bargaining proposal which allowed for flat rate wage increases.
That proposal allowed for flat rate wage increases for the three Saskatchewan CEP locals, local 1S, local 2S and local 3
By attempting to flat rate our salary increases, the CEP Provincial Bargaining Caucus for Saskatchewan has deliberately and purposely set upon a course of action that will bring financial hardship to a significant portion of its membership through the unfair redistribution of their wages.

Petition:
We, the undersigned members of CEP Local 1S, local 2S and local 3, demand that the CEP Provincial Bargaining Caucus for Saskatchewan:
1) immediately revoke any and all wording in the final bargaining package that refers to flat rating of members' wages and,
2) negotiate wage increases on behalf of its members that shall be calculated and delivered fairly and equitably as a percentage of each member wages, during the current and any future wage negotiations with SaskTel.
