Three Durban men are accused of various charges relating to the production, dissemination and possession of child porn. One of them has been charged with rape, sexual assault and the sexual grooming of a 6 year old.
It is particularly disturbing that the alleged abuse of children has taken place during the 16 Days of Activism campaign against the abuse of women and children.
The accused are due to appear in court on Thursday, 8 December 2016 for their bail hearing.
We implore the courts to deny them bail.
We, the undersigned, hereby demand that the alleged perpetrators of these horrendous crimes be denied bail and, if found guilty, be sentenced to serve the maximum number of years in prison. This would serve as a lesson to other predators that if they destroy the lives of innocent children, they will face the full wrath of the law.
