225 ILCS 410/3B‑4) (from Ch. 111, par. 1703B‑4)
Sec. 3B‑4.Any owner, operator or authorized agent of a school who commits any of the following offenses shall be guilty of a Class A misdemeanor for the first offense and a Class 4 felony for the second or subsequent offense:
1. Knowingly, and for the purpose of influencing or inducing a person to enroll in the course of instruction offered by the school, makes any false or misleading statements, misrepresentations or false promises to such person regarding opportunities upon graduation from the school for (a) employment in a business, industry or trade, (b) admission to an institution of higher learning, or (c) admission to an occupational licensing examination.
No offer for night students to make up hour and futher more denial by managment for make up hours.
This petition is not stating that you would be able to make up ALL hours but that you were told you would be offered make up hours. Due to the Bloomingdale's campus decision to over enroll Day courses, it has left all current night students with out the opportunity to make up hours.
When you came in for your tour before signing the contract you were told you would be able to make up hours. When you came in to sign your contract you were told you would be able to make up hours.
When you had orientation before the first day of class you were told you would be able to make up hours.
