Target:
Senator Gillibrand, Senator Schumer, and all US Representatives in New York
Region:
Vietnam

China has staked absurd claims on territories of Vietnam, Japan, and the Philippines. According to Wall Street Journal, "It appears to be building a network of island fortresses to help enforce control of most of the South China Sea—one of the world’s busiest shipping routes—and potentially of the airspace above, according to experts who have studied the images."

We are also concerned about human rights in Vietnam. The Vietnamese government continues to imprison bloggers and activists who advocate peacefully for democracy and freedom in Vietnam.

We, the undersigned, call on Senator Gillibrand, Senator Schumer, and all US Representatives in New York, President Obama, Secretary of State Kerry to repulse China's aggression and buildup in the Vietnam's East Sea (South China Sea).

Please demand Vietnamese government to release all political prisoners, respect human rights and abolish one-party political system.

We urge every freedom-loving citizens to attend the "Journey to Freedom" days from 6/18 to 6/20/2015 in Washington D.C, to campaign for a free and democratic Vietnam.
