Over the past 20 years our community had been suffering from poor BUS STOP SHELTERS on our streets. Its heart broken on a rainy day to see a child standing under the tree waiting for the bus at the bus stop but without a shelter. It's even cruel to see an elderly man or woman standing in the cold winter morning waiting for the bus exposed to the element due to no BUS SHELTERING. Not mentioning the workers and young people sitting on the foot path waiting for the bus in the hot summer season.
We have tolerate this sight for far too long. We are united together asking to the government please build us good quality BUS STOP SHELTERS. If you are promoting us to use public transportation quality GOOD BUS STOP SHELTERS at bus stop should be part of the Public Transportation Development scheme.
After all a comfortable or an uncomfortable 5-15 minutes wait for the bus can make a whole lot difference for our daily routine, thus an indirect but a costly impact on Auckland and New Zealand's development as a whole.
We are united together and proposing to the Auckland City Council to build good quality BUS STOP SHELTERS for our community on the Ragland Road and the Henwood Road.
