Nettle Road west of CC Highway (NEOSHO,MO) was promised to be redone in the year 2006 and was started for 1 day and all equipment was pulled out the next day and has never seen them again.
The road needs Whistles for drainage put in and the road built back up.. There are holes big enough to sink a truck in.This road is only 8 tenths of a mile long and over 20 homes on this road and more land is being cleared out for more homes..
This road is one of the largest populated roads in the district and lots of taxes are paid to maintain this road which is not done.. The road is made for horse and buggy and the horse would probably break a leg on it..
We, the undersigned, would like to submit this petition to Seneca Special Road District and Newton County and State Reps and whom ever else it concerns.
We are requesting that the road is repaired as they promised to do in 2006 to the Tax payers that live on this road which was never done.. Such as new Whistles for drainage, building the road back up to par so that when graded the grader has something to work with and not just rock..Phone calls have been made to them and the same reply is we will get to it (PROMISES, PROMISES,PROMISES)...
We are tired of doing damage to our vehicles such as tires and suspensions. Not to mention the damage it does to the school buses which cost the tax payers more money to repair them.
