Petition:
We, the undersigned members of the Murdoch University community, demand that the University prioritise Student-only space in the form of Student Common Rooms.
Not only are Common rooms an important aspect of Campus-culture and community, they provide a safe, friendly space where people can study, relax and meet friends.
We understand that the University is under pressure for space on campus, but we, as students of the university, are of the opinion that the provision of student common rooms is an integral responsibility of any good university.
We demand that the University commit to providing more space for this use (including kitchen facilities).
