Very soon after a week of mourning in Singapore, people will move on with their lives and soon forgotten the Man, whom we dearly missed. The man, the father who shaped Singapore as it is now.
In order for our young/next generation to learn the spirits, the vision of this great man. I am suggesting that MOM will nominate 16 September (Mr Lee Kuan Yew's Birthday) as Mr Lee Kuan Yew's day to commemorate Singapore's First Prime Minister, a man who sacrifice his entire life for the nation.
PS: This is a day to commemorate our late Mr Lee Kuan Yew, not an extra PH. That will be entirely up to MOM to decide.
We, the undersigned, call on the Ministry of Manpower Singapore to Dominate 16 September as "Mr Lee Kuan Yew's day" for all Singaporean to commemorate the man, the father, the hero of Singapore.
