The utility poles on Quan Ave in front of Tillman Elementary School are an unsafe obstruction in the traffic right-of-way.
These utility poles pose a very real hazard to students, staff, and families while crossing the street, driving, circulating, and parking, as well as during student drop-off/pick-up.
These utility poles need to be relocated.
We, the undersigned, call upon the City of Kirkwood, Kirkwood Electric, Ameren UE, and other affiliated parties to relocate the poles away from the front of Tillman Elementary School so that they are no longer an unsafe obstruction in the traffic right-of-way.
