I am a community fund raiser raising money for a wide range of charity markets such as Colnne Valley alsima Care Homes.
We have been trying now for almost 2 years to place our textile banks next to others in the street but when asking permission to do this we have been told no sorry the council has a contract with Oxfam. Oxfam is a great charity whose main work is international and some work is done in the UK.
UK tax-payers should have the right to say yes or no to Oxfam, and should be given the opportunity to give to other charities.
Allow free trade and stop the monopolies.
Allow other companies a fair opportunity and give tax payers a choice to place there donations for a different cause than just giving to Oxfam.
