A recent drive by shooting in my community that took the life of two teen-agers 17 and 15 who were gunned down execution style and killed, senselessly.
Over the last three-years more than 26 have been killed due to gun violence. Our community is at war and we, the people have no weapons to protect the innocent.
We, the undersigned, call on California Lawmakers to enact legislation that would mandate that every documented and alleged gang member would have to wear GPS's.
This would allow law enforcement and probation to monitor the whereabouts of gang members and reduce the 'drive-by' shootings in our city.
