Petition Background (Preamble):
I'm calling for the British government to put money into research for Mitochondrial Disease which affects many babies, children and adults. There is no cure for the disease.
The United States do research and fund raising and Mitochondrial Disease is more heard of over there. Myself and many friends have lost babies and children to Mitochondrial Disease and its a horrible thing to watch someone suffer and knowing the person will die.
I'm doing this in memory of everyone who has died and suffering from Mito. For anyone who doesn't know what Mitochondrial disease are take a look at the link www.umdf.org
