Michigan Contraceptive Coverage

House Bill 5175 requires insurance plans that provide prescription drug coverage to include contraceptives without any dollar limit, co-payment, deductible or co-insurance provision that does not apply to presciption coverage generally.

HB 5175 provides contraceptive access to women who could not normally afford contraceptives and will put an end to the majority of unwanted pregnancies that would normally end in abortion.
