Cloud Gardens, located at 14 Temperance Street, has long been a gathering place for the city's messenger/courier community.
Most recently it has become an informal place for the community to gather when a messenger/courier passes away.
Since the eastern portion of Cloud Gardens is already a monument dedicated to Toronto's construction workers, the purpose of this petition is to designate a portion of the western part of Cloud Gardens as Messenger Memorial Gardens.
We, the undersigned, ask that the City of Toronto designate a portion of the western part of Cloud Gardens as Messenger Memorial Gardens with a plaque in memory of those messengers who are no longer with us.
