Manitoba Government support for Couples experiencing Infertility
Result:
We used the petition to lobby the provincial government and were successful in achieving what we wanted.
We, the undersigned, call on the Manitoba Government and Manitoba Health to:
A.) Establish an “Expert Panel” on Infertility and Adoption to improve access to infertility treatments and provide more adoption services. Ontario recently established such a panel in July 2008.
B.) Cover the cost of Assisted Reproductive Techonology (ART) treatments and support services, specifically IVF treatment.
