Make MACs bar 'Maggie's bar'

It has come to my attention that there are many a petition flying around Preston at the moment in relation to the nightlife industry, but the voice of the people has not been heard.

I hereby propose that in light of recent developments, the UN or Preston City Council change the name of MACs bar to 'The Coal Pit', a Margaret Thatcher themed 80's bar. Maggie is without a doubt one of the UK's greatest prime ministers, and definitely one of our most popular leaders of recent times, I find it fitting as such that Preston pay homage to the late Iron lady with a dedicated theme bar.

I propose a new cocktail menu:

The Embassy siege - an explosive concoction of iranian blends, served with cold hard British justice.

The Rebublican - a tri-coloured cocktail served to you by a burly genuine ulsterman in a balaclava, 100% molotov cocktail guaranteed

The Fruity Falkland - taste a piece of Argentina, from your own home! Courtesy of the Parachute Regiment battlegroup

The Milk Snatcher - a creamy blend of milky goodness....or is it?

The Pinochet - a South American mixture, served on ice to keep it 'chile'

I also propose a sectioned off area upstairs, a creche of sorts, so that all the under 25's who weren't alive when she was in power can discuss how she affected their lives.

I hope that my proposal is considered and that you support and sign this petition, for the sake of the Preston nightlife scene.
