As we are all aware, landlords have been neglecting their rental properties and we have been forced to live in run down place's. It is well known that in order to get most landlord's to do the proper repairs we are the one's who have to do all the legal foot work and most of us get no where.
As tenants we have been forced to put our own money into the rental just so we can live in a descent home. It's unfair and just highway robbery by the landlord who makes thousands if not millions. It's time that we fight to have a law put in to have every landlords rentals be inspected once per year. If the rental property isn't up to standards then the repairs are forced on the landlord. No repair, then landlord CANNOT rent out the rental and if vacant then landlord is to do repairs or lose rental payment until repairs are done.
Children especially should NOT have to live in run down or dangerous homes. We should not have to fight any landlord for repairs. Lanlord and tenant act doesn't always help!
WE, the undersigned, want a law in place to force all landlord's to have yearly inspection's done to insure that we as renter's do NOT have to fight to live in better condition's.
As renters we should NOT be forced to fight the landlord and tenants act to have a descent home for ourselves and family. A lot of landlords are getting away with NOT doing the repairs needed and tenant's are being forced to either fight the landlord or live in poor conition's as we are afraid of the landlord retailiating and finding a mean's to evict if we file a complaint. Let's protect ourselves, families and others.
Please help us renter's and give us better rights and better living conditions without having to fight landlords who neglect their rental properties.
Let's give all landlords the message and force them to do all repairs yearly without the FIGHT which is just NOT fair to us tenants!!
