This petition laments the ever increasing fees in private schools and urges the Federal Government as well as the provincial government to take necessary action in this regard.

A 30 percent increase in tuition fee by Bahria Foundation College Westridge has forced parents to think seriously over this issue. The administration of the said school had already increased Rs. 1000/- last year (April, 2015) on the name of security measures.

Dear Prime Minister and Chief Minister

As private school parents, we are deeply concerned about the role of state in regulating private schools. Over the past several years, the school fee has significantly increased. These private schools should be answerable to someone at least. Some media reports claim that protests are being held in different parts of the country in this regard.

Since the majority of government sector schools are not delivering, many people opt for private schools, even if it means paying more, because they feel that their children will benefit from it. Low-cost private education is needed for the public as private schools nowadays charge heavy fees along with additional security costs. We need to develop a private schools monitoring system, as the private education sector seems to be slipping out of hand.

There should some SOPs and regulatory bodies for monitoring the private educational Institutions. No private sector organization should be allowed to impose their own agenda making the people disturbed and upset. Writ of the Govt. dept must be enforced at every organization and place.

We urge you to kindly look into the mater seriously to secure the future of our Children.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
