It has become apparent that local, state and federal legislatures no longer work on behalf of their constituents but rather lobbyists, special interest groups and themselves.
We can no longer afford to continually re-elect these people who no longer serve us. I am suggesting that term limits be imposed on the Congressional Branches of our local, state and federal government. Senators and Representatives will no longer be able to serve consecutive terms after either years in office. They may run again however, only after they have left office.
I believe this will save the Republic. We can no longer tolerate ideologues or self-serving representation at the expense of our Country and We The People.
We, the undersigned, call on all Citizens of the United States to America to impose term limits on the Congressional Branch of government on local, state and federal levels.
Senators and Representatives will no longer be able to serve consecutive terms after eight years of service.
