Background (Preamble):
Gov. Ed Rendell on Monday halted the early release of state prison inmates. Stopping the release of inmates because of what one person has done is unfair and unjust.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, ask that Governor Rendell lift the ban so that inmates who are eligible for parole have the chance if their record warrants parole.
