Benjamin Orr passed away in 2000 from pancreatic cancer. He was lead vocals for the 70s/80s band the Cars.
Benjamin had one solo album The Lace, and had unreleased material and he was hoping to put together a second solo album that never happened due to his failing health and death.
Benjamin is very deeply missed by his fans still after 15 years, and there are numerous groups who honor his memory daily. Many fans have been asking for a a re release of the unreleased songs, either in a compilation album including the songs from The Lace with the unreleased as bonus tracks, or an album of just the unreleased songs.
This petition we are hoping will posthumously honor the late, great Benjamin Orr.
I am hoping with enough signatures we can Make Rhino Records, see there is great demand for Benjamins music still.
