As anyone knows trying to dock at the public wharf @McCrackens Landing is almost impossible.
The landing has become a planned destination and is becoming busier each year.
We had requested a second public dock at McCracken's Landing at a council meeting in Douro Dummer as Crowe's Landing has a second dock. The township claims they can't afford to put a second dock in.
I have priced the dock through Gord Toms Contracting and Rj machine. The dock is $27,000 which includes moving the existing dock and installation of both docks.
As the largest tax payers and source of income for the township we are petitioning for a second dock.
