Chapter 92 of animal ordinance, General Regulations
92.5 NUMBER OF FOWL AND RABBITS RESTRICTED.
It shall be unlawful for any person to keep at any one location more than ten fowl and more than two rabbits.
All fowl and rabbits shal be keep in a secure pen or enclosure that is at least 30 feet from any inhabited dwelling other than that of the owner.

In response to this ord. As of 04-16-10 No revisions have been made to change the perimeters of these guide lines . As of mid April 2010 the City of Cockrell Hill , Tx. has been citing us with threats of citations,
penalties and monetary fines if we do not relinquish
ownership of our 4 chickens. They are as close to our children as animals can get and are not against our local laws to own. Their pens and living areas are kept
clean and as a mater or daily course manicured to provide a healthy environment . We do not understand
the harassment we are receiving from our local government and would like it to end .
We , the undersigned , [Residence of Cockrell Hill , tx.]
Look to City leaders of [Cockrell Hill , Tx.] to be fair under
their codes and ordinances written by the City leaders of said [city of Cockrell hlll , Tx.] and allow for its residences to live under their laws without persecution. Specificity Regulation 92.05 numbering the quantity of chickens allowed by each resident .
