My cat was has been vaccinated yearly against rabies. Her last jab was in February 07 - in good time for her to be able to go back to live in Britain in September 07. But I didn't know she had to have a blood test after the jab.
She had this on 10 July (when I found out about it) but now she has to wait until 10 January before she can travel. This is silly because her antibodies will be even less than they are now. Pussywoo came from the animal home 6 years ago. She had been badly treated, but although she is still quite nervous she is a very loving, sweet cat. She will hate being away from us for so long, and there does not seem to be any good reason for it.
Where I live in Germany there is no rabies, and in any case, my cat never goes beyond my patio.
We, the undersigned, call on the British government to review the unreasonable and illogical laws on quarantine.
