Most kids don't like to participate in sports and activities because sometimes the rules and regulations, along with fees for equipment and entrance, make them feel submissive. Kids want to have fun but also to be free.
Through observation and inside resources, it has been agreed upon that kids don't like to play sports with a lot of rules whether in gym class or officially.
Dodgeball not only is a sport with less rules but also kids like it because they don't need to remember positions or special moves. More kids participate and work as a team when there is only few rules.
We, the undersigned, ask the Oshkosh Area School Board not only to help start the option of a Dodgeball team, but also to help spread this idea to other districts.
