We are petitioning on behalf of Ian 'Bunji Garlin' Alvarez who as a man of integrity has gracefully bowed out of the International Soca Monarch Competition because of the onerous obligations imposed by William Munro's Caribbean Prestige Foundation contract which is demanding from competitors to give Munro five per cent of their winnings and Ninety per cent of their prize money if they choose not to defend next year their titles won this year.
Why should competitors be obligated to comply with these unfair and draconian terms? Come on Munro, Bunji is a crowd pleaser and with out doubt will pull a large crowd.
