Legalize Medical Marijuana in NC

WHEREAS, the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians, the American Federation of Scientists has endorsed using cannabis/marijuana for medical purposes and is urging to the U.S. Congress to remove it from schedule one; and

WHEREAS, the American Nurses Association, the NC Nurses Association, the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the Lymphoma Foundation of America support laws to protect medical marijuana users and their care-givers; and

WHEREAS, the citizens of North Carolina are compassion, sensitive and concerned about those suffering citizens in our state;

WE, the undersigned CITIZENS of North Carolina, do hereby petition our state legislators to Immediately Pass HB 1380, which provides safe, legal access to cannabis for medical purposes and research.
