Legalize Airsoft in New York City

There is no reason for airsoft to be illegal in New York City. Even with airsoft banned, their will still be replica firearm related crime and there is nothing the city can do about it.
Also under NYC law Airsoft toys are considered "firearms" while under federal law they are classified as toys. This is oppression that should be eliminated.
Please support me and many others by contacting Mayor Bloomberg directly or contacting the city goverment. Thank you!
We, the undersigned, call on the New York City goverment to make Airsoft guns legal for purchase to be shipped to the city or to be bought within city limits under an NYPD controlled system, where all airsoft toys can be tracked.
This will prevent crime, and still make a sport that tens of thousands across the country enjoy, legal. We also call to have airsoft guns which are harmless toys to no longer be considered firearms under city law.
