The District Superintendents Office has decided to cut out many of the bus stops in the Estates area for the 2008-2009 school year due to budget cuts.
For those children that will have to continue to walk to their bus stops, these cuts jeopardize the safety of the students, especially since some of the stops are at busy intersections or would require children to cross busy streets.
We, the undersigned, demand that the district review the current bus schedule and modify it by adding additional stops within reasonable distances for the students home.
