The Parking lot located west of the townhouse complex has garbage cans located on the north end. Here people from 28 house holds dispose of their garbage.
This has been like this for at least 5 years. Recently a pack of rats has made a nest either there or in the abandoned house located on the northeast corner of the complex.
They dwell amongst the garbage and look for food and nesting material in our backyard, we are concerned that our homes will become infested.
The residents of 6200 Block of N Hoyne Ave in Chicago, Il are concerned with the sanitary situation of our town homes.
There is an obvious rat problem that is making us uncomfortable due to poor sanitation.
We would like the City of Chicago to show concern to the infestation and help the people in this community to get rid of potential belt hazards.
