If the University has validated the programme and the Higher Education Funding Council for England funds it, how can there be a problem with its designation for student support?
Why can't our students receive maintenance support, in the form of either loans or grants, to support their education? Some students have already been forced to give up their studies, and others may follow suit.
This seems completely unfair and unreasonable, because it means that wealthier students can support themselves, while others cannot do so.
We, the undersigned, call on the DIUS to intervene on our behalf and restore higher education funding for the Foundation Degree at the London Studio Centre.
