As a South East Kent resident, and owner of a classic car which is my absolute pride and joy, I am shocked and indeed very angered by the state of the roads in my area.
I have never seen anything like this, it is beyond a joke. I have spent time collecting photographic evidence, and every day I discover that there are more and more local routes that I have to avoid. This is not fair - we pay tax for the privilege of driving on the road, but I do believe this money is not actually being spent on maintaining the roads themselves.
My car is being ruined, and now driving it just seems like a constant worry.
The potholes are not being seen to, so I have decided to create a petition and a web group, to encourage others to help campaign for better roads here in Kent.
We, the undersigned, wish to bring to attention the terrible state of the roads in Kent - specifically the staggering amount of potholes. Our local roads should be in much better shape.
