President Obama is proposing that we decrease the size of our military to that of pre-WWII.
Budgetary cuts should be made elsewhere. For instance, most taxpayers do not like paying for the President or his wife to appear on late-night shows. Stopping that would save the government MILLIONS of dollars each time they appear!
We, the undersigned, respectively request that the U.S. Military NOT be reduced to pre-WWII size.
Reduction in size will only make our country weak. We also believe that if budgetary changes need to be made that, perhaps, we should discontinue frivolous costs - like sending the President and/or his wife to appear on late-night comedy shows that cost the taxpayers millions of dollars. This is no laughing matter.
Please, for the sake of our military personnel and for the safety of our country, DO NOT reduce the size of our military!
