We, the undersigned, are concerned by the parking problems and increased traffic which is a direct result of dropping off and picking up at Hawarden Village Church School.
The illegal and/or dangerous parking and stopping on the school zig zags and yellow lines; double and treble parking; pavement parking and erratic driving at the start and end of the school day poses significant risk to lives. The small percentage of parents and guardians who thoughtlessly and selfishly ignore the parking restrictions around our school show no in interest in the safety of children and other pedestrians.
Our message is simple : Keep school entrances clear and keep our children safe.
We call on all those who support our cause to sign this petition and pass it on.

We call upon Flintshire County Council (FCC) to show their commitment to this campaign and action changes which will remove the danger and ensure that the safety of children, parents and staff remains a matter of paramount importance.
We would like FCC to carry out a feasibility study to find suitable solutions to the problems experienced outside Hawarden Village Church School and to explore measures which can be implemented to improve safety.
