My son Gary L. Broers died in an unmaintained overgrown Ditch on Melbourne Airport Property on Apollo Blvd. and no Street Lights are on this stretch of Road.
We Placed A Drive Safely Memorial Marker there @ Airport & Apollo Blvd. on the other side of the Side Walk & The Melbourne Airport has constantly complained about it being there. This Sign is in no way on their property, nor does it pose any problem.
Because he died on their property, this sign needs to be there permanently or The Airport needs to put a Fence, or Barrier around the Ditch, and place Street Lights there, so no one else Dies here.
Gary's Sign is a Warning to Slow Down & Drive Safely, as Someone died here!

We are Requesting that Gary L. Broers Drive Safely Memorial Sign remain permanently on the Corner of Airport & Apollo Blvd, Where He crashed in an unmaintained over grown Ditch where their are no Street Lights either on Airport Property on August 25th 2009.
The Melbourne Airport has constantly complained about the Memorial Sign being placed near their property, it is not on their property, but is on Brevard County Property & is a reminder that you need to Drive Safely Here as someone died in this ditch & it may save other lives, If not then the Melbourne Airport needs to Fence in this Ditch or put up Barriers and Street Lights.
